Job title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Towcester

What you’ll be doing:

You will be going through the use of defined manufacturing processes and current production plant and equipment, produce a variety of standard products to an agreed production schedule. Likely tasks include:

Use of plant and equipment to compound and press Rubber and Resin based sheet materials.

Use of Plant and equipment to produce Resin based products.

Manufacture of Composite component and shapes through the use of Resin Pre-impregnated fabrics.

Adhering to safety practices.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Industrial experience is desired in a Mechanical or Process Engineering environment, particular experience with polymers & composites in the aerospace / defence / automotive would be advantageous
  • Works cooperatively and collaboratively with others, to be part of a team and respect the opinions of others
  • Able to follow Manufacturing Process documentation procedures

Desirable

  • HNC in a relevant engineering or STEM discipline
