Salary:Up to £50,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Designing the Human Machine Interface for the cockpits of Typhoon fighter jets to meet customer needs
Working with customer and industry aircrew and well as a multidiscipline engineering team
Performing Cockpit assessments on full mission simulators and real aircraft
Have a direct influence on the flying product
Help to develop the cockpit of the future
Your skills and experiences:
Degree/HND in Engineering
Systems Engineering experience
Human Machine Interface design experience/human factors experience
Previous experience of Avionics

The Typhoon Cockpit Group:
As a Cockpit Design Engineer undertakes the design duties to deliver cockpit engineering for Typhoon. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain significant understanding of the Typhoon Cockpit and associated Avionics, including HMI design aspects, and working with a broad network of Systems Engineers, across the Typhoon engineering lifecycle, including operations.
