Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Can report to various UK sites. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £73,000 depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the Product Owner in the definition of Sprints and User Stories, in order to meet company demands of the platform
• Contribute and deliver the Cloud architecture into operational run (baseline, target, roadmap, standards, reference architectures, etc.), supporting a wide range of use cases. Run architectural reviews of the platform at appropriate intervals to take best advantage of vendor technologies
• Define, optimise, automate, publish and communicate deployment patterns
• Take on the technical lead role in ADHOC work, including cloud migrations and holistic design work
• Driving the adoption of automation in the platform, using common methods with other platforms

Your skills and experiences:

• Transformation and operational technology integration experience in AWS and Azure and regarded as subject matter expert in all areas of AWS and Azure
• Knowledge of all IaaS and PaaS areas within AWS and Azure technology stacks
• Identify a business case and deploy an end to end solution on the finalized Cloud platforms
• Understanding of directory services (AD, AAD and LDAP)
• Good understanding of networking (Firewalls, Routing, VLAN, WAN, Trunking, Masks)

• Professional qualifications preferred, relevant experience also considered

The Cloud environments are fundamental to the success of IT projects and as an IT business we are here to create most secure, high capability IT environments in a repetitive fashion. The Cloud Architect role is to define and architect the functional blocks of all Cloud Services (currently Azure and AWS) and build most secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure for our business applications and workloads.
