Job title: Assistant Project Manager

Salary: Up to £47,940 depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- LCM preparations for bid submissions and on-going projects
- Project scheduling
- Ensuring key project milestones and deliverables are known, met and evidenced
- Liaising with key stakeholders via meetings, telephone, and emails
- Maintaining management reporting packs
- Deputise for the Project Manager when required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Project management experience demonstrated in a professional role within a significant business or project
- Understanding of a large range of project management tools, techniques and practices
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- APM qualification or equivalent working experience

The Warship Support Project team:
You will be joining a small team comprising of Project Managers and Engineers and support the Project Manager with the delivery of a major project. This role will give you the opportunity to work across a number of major projects and touch on all aspects of project management, including deployment of project control and management techniques. This role could also provide you with the opportunity to grow and develop within the team or the wider BAE Systems business.
