Job title: Business Analyst – Data Centre

Location: Warton, with occasional travel to Samlesbury when required (site presence 2-3 times per week). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: £49,135+ depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Gathering requirements from the business to aid the transition of services from the Northwest data centre which consists of four data centres
  • Delivering clear strategic Integrated Business Plan’s (IBP) detailing requirements, scope, dependencies, and execution planning of the data centre
  • Ensuring seamless integration between projects
  • Assisting managing complex individual IM&T projects, programmes and work streams
  • Supporting the business need process, managing consumer expectations, providing advice and guidance on planning, costs, resources, and budget as required
  • Managing customer, partner, and supplier relationships

Your skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable experience in I.T project/programmes
  • Degree in an IT related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of successful deployment of complex IT solutions
  • Previous experience in business analyst role in a large complex enterprise IT environment
  • Experience of budget management would be beneficial
  • Experience within the BAE Systems AIR Sector would be advantageous

The infrastructure and engineering team:

The team will be responsible for the successful delivery of IM&T enabled solutions, identifying and shaping future IT needs.

The team is at the forefront of the data transformation for BAE’s future, working on 4 large data centres in a large data centre environment, consolidating into purpose build via requirements capture for future demands.

This will involve technology updates and analysis for the need to replace and working closely with the Project Manager.
