Job Title: Product Development Engineer

Salary: £52,500+
What you’ll be doing:
Providing Hardware and Systems Engineering support for business development, including study, experimentation, de-risking, supplier interfacing
Technical interaction with prospective customers
Developing and implementing technical solutions that meet the customer requirements
Provisional estimates and reports for specified activities to the development lead
Supporting System Integration activities
The safe design of the system prior to delivery and for the preparation of information required by the Design Authority to support the Design Certification and Certificate of Design activities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Hardware and Systems Engineering background
Good understanding of the complete engineering lifecycle and configuration management
Experience in the design and specification of cable assemblies
Desirable:
Familiarity of 19inch rack mounted equipment
Working knowledge of using CAD software
