Job title: Weld Database Coordinator
Location: Barrow-in-Furness - Onsite
Salary: Circa £27,221 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Database input, Population and maintenance
- Liaising with Management, Team Leader's & Shop floor operatives
- Quality control (Non-Conformation/Defects) in support of the "Right First Time" measures
- Review, use & interpret technical drawings
- Ensure & authorise Weld activity is accurately recorded
- Actively working on Shop floor carrying out Inspections
- Compile, review & complete Work packs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience managing Weld Databases
- Knowledge in specific systems to support the role
- Strong people skills
Desirable:
- Fabrication Welding background
- Understanding of Quality Standards & Regs
- Use & interpretation of technical drawings and associated data

The Sheet Metal Facility team:
You will be joining a team who are responsible for actively supporting the Welding community in significant aspects of technical support and, where appropriate, authorisation associated with Welding activity.
