Job title: Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Lead

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: Starting from £43,373, depending on skills & experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll manage the cost collection & monitoring process to ensure the assurance and configuration control of the data
  • You’ll support integration of the performance data from all the Alliance Parties into the EVMS (Deltek Cobra V8.2)
  • You’ll undertake scrutiny of performance cost data provenance ensuring consistency, accuracy, completeness and formatting structures
  • You’ll liaise with parties to support delivery of timely, quality data information inputs to the Alliance-set specification
  • You’ll identify the trends in programme performance and use root cause analysis to uncover issues

Your skills and experiences:

  • Graduate level qualification in Project Management, cost estimating/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience of the Deltek COBRA computer system, or equivalent project cost and Earned Value software
  • Comprehensive understanding of cost management and earned value analysis
  • Good knowledge of cost estimating and basis of estimates
  • Experience developing and implementing Earned Value Management procedures & instructions

The Alliance Programme Controls team:

In the Alliance Programme Controls team you will have a unique viewpoint of the Dreadnought Programme – collaborating with colleagues from all Alliance Parties to enable data-driven decisions to be made in support of the delivery of Dreadnought.
