Job title: Strategic Change Manager

Salary: £54,098+
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, the Strategic Change Manager leads the bid effort in support of large and complex bids, across UK Typhoon Strategic Contract Change programmes. This includes responsibility for:
- Responsible for understanding and leading strategic business change opportunities spanning over the next two to five years. With conscious consideration to any impact on current operational output
- Leading all bid efforts for key future capability and modification embodiment programmes, including through life support contracts and embedding the changes within the UK Typhoon Contract
- Responsible for ensuring that the requirements, solutions and assumptions are understood to enable estimating and clearance activities
- Influence and input to the follow on campaign (separate activity to win the next ten year contract) using knowledge of strategic changes on the horizon, impact to and key considerations for the campaign as required
- Line management and leadership responsibilities of a direct team of contract change bid leads

Your skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of bid and change management processes, including Life Cycle Management essential
- Knowledge and understanding of Contractual Performance Incentives (Target Cost, KPIs, KRIs) and the impact complex strategic change may have on them
- Experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong influencing, communication and diplomacy skills required to communicate sometimes complicated or sensitive information effectively to multiple audiences, including internal / external peers and sometimes at higher levels
- Previous experience dealing with complex Project change management

The contract change team is a dedicated team of professionals whose mission is to ensure the successful execution of bids and changes to the core contract. The team is composed of experienced project managers, estimators, engineers, and maintenance experts who work together to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.
