Job title: Principal Operations Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
Developing and overseeing the implementation of department processes
Communicating effectively with the team, management, contractors, and customers and developing efficient customer relations with other areas of the business and external customers
Producing documentation accordingly e.g., process instructions
Responsibility for liaising with planning and other technical departments
Responsibility for developing innovative process solutions which link to own and other key business areas and identifying development opportunities
Being conversant with the Quality and HS&E Management Systems, specifically the processes and documentation, training & risk assessments
Deploying the applicable Quality Management System and HS&E documentation to your team ensuring they have both a thorough understanding of the content, risks and control measures and can ultimately demonstrate their competence to apply them
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
A solid understanding of HS&E Requirements and knowledge and demonstrable experience of engineering regulations
Experience in Technical document writing and reporting experience (Reports, Specifications etc)
Good knowledge of end-to-end Test and Commissioning processes within Teamcenter
Experience working with SAP and skilled in Microsoft Packages
Project Management understanding and experience
Desirable
A recognised trade background with indentures and experience
