Job title: Production Technician (Inspection)

Location: Rochester

Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Inspecting Electronic sub-assemblies and final assemblies, ensuring product conformity to specifications, drawings and other standards
  • Undertaking build or simple test where trained and requested to do so
  • Working strictly to our MES electronic work instructions and to IPC standards, to achieve the quality required
  • Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained to keep areas FOD free
  • Maintaining accurate written and electronic records
  • Using our IT tools within a Windows environment

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience of inspection using a variety of tools within an Electronics Engineering environment
  • Experience with the defence, aerospace or electronics industry
  • Solid IT skills
  • Holding ICP certifications would be advantageous

The Production team:

As a Production Technician (Inspector), you will be part of an integrated manufacturing/repair team inspecting and possibly building, wiring and assembling complex electronic assembly’s or sub assembly’s in accordance with manufacturing build instructions, , ensuring build standard and quality are met. You will gain internationally recognised IPC certifications for electronic assembly.
