Salary: Circa £38,000 – Dependant on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Acting as an extension to the Category Management organisation to deploy solutions across indirect categories such as Facilities Management, MRO, IT, Employee Services.
Providing day-to-day procurement support and advice to key stakeholders
Conduct formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) / Tender process in support of Electronic Systems business requirements
Conduct supplier negotiations and contract award
Conduct supplier performance management ensuring that contractual obligations are delivered
Purchase to Pay (using Oracle / Coupa / AMEX) ensuring compliance with IPS procedures
Manage CPC activities across ES ensuring compliance with governing procedures.
Maintain integrity of relevant information databases
Your skills and experiences:
Knowledge of MRP system would be beneficial
Experience of supplier management and contract negotiations
CIPs (procurement and supplier) qualification is desirable or working towards to
Demonstrable track record of leading on activities throughout the procurement lifecycle
Familiar with the principles and application of Category Management
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
