Job Title: Senior Engineer- Integrated Combat Systems

What you’ll be doing:
Support monthly Integrated Delivery Reviews and provide the technical and build schedule interface between the Combat Systems CAMS and the Dreadnought Platform
Be the point of contact for the co-ordination of spatial, technical and schedule issues.Identification and rapid closure of issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages
Liaising with both internal and external customers as required ensuring that their requirements are adequately supported and that their needs are fully considered and incorporated where appropriate and agreed
Undertaking peer reviews or checking / verification tasks
Defining the qualification obligations for the assurance hold points during build, test and commissioning
Providing support to the Certificate of Design activities appropriate to the discipline
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Electrical Engineering background
Understanding of the full engineering lifecycle
Experience in dealing with electrical equipment installation
Submarines or combat systems background
HNC in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience
Desirable:
Installation/integration background

The Build and Integration team:
The Team is central to the development of the Submarine building programme you will be part of the Build and Integration team acting as the liaison between the sub system delivery teams based in our Southern Sites office and the shipbuilder. You will take the lead to provide focus and direction for the physical design and integration of Combat Systems and be the primary technical contact for any issues throughout design and build lifecycle.
