Job Title: Principal Quality Inspector - Welding/Structural
Location: Barrow-in-Furness; primarily North East region, Newcastle, Middlesbrough

What you’ll be doing:
- Multi trade inspector, Weld (NDE), Structural & Records
- ITP’s – Control Inspections carried out as required (RFI's / F019)
- Coaching of supplier inspectors to assure BAE quality of supply
- Verification of MRB records (Excluding Dim Man records)
- Progressive Inspection/approval of records at sites
- JMS management and verification including data capture
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- PCN/CSWIP 3.1 Qualification
- Working to technical drawings, specifications and standards
Desirable
- An understanding of ISO9001:2015
- Experience with SAP tool

The Quality team:
As a part of the Quality team, you will be supporting the suppliers to ensure they meet the expected Quality standards for the project. This role will provide you with the opportunity to carry out inspections and work in a diverse area of the business with opportunity for development in your career. It would also involve working at a supplier site but also supporting other various supplier sites at locations in support of Strategic Manufacturing across Dreadnaught and future submarine projects.
