Job title: Principal Consultant Engineer - Product Safety & Security

Salary: £53,400 - £75,000 (Dependant on experience)

What you’ll be doing:

This highly visible role is responsible for the ownership and driving continuous improvement into the product safety and product security management systems across the air portfolio and you will

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Engineering community to deploy Product Safety & Security Capability across the Air business
  • Own & Manage any risks (financial and non-financial) at the Air level
  • Facilitate the Pan Functional Steering and Working Groups
  • Deliver improvements across product integrity in support of the new digital engineering environment in line with the 5 year improvement plan
  • Support and encourage all Product Integrity (Safety, Security and Environmental) Promotion activities – communications, engagement events, training and continuous improvements

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation Product Integrity (Product Safety and/ or Product Security) change Programmes
  • Experience of delivering change in a complex engineering environment
  • Proven Leadership and influencing across a broad stakeholder network

Desirable:

  • You will have a strong STEM technical background, ideally holding or working towards Chartered status
  • Proven experience having worked in military and/ or civil aviation industry
  • Product Security knowledge,

The Product Integrity team:

The Product Integrity team take ownership of product safety and product security management system and product environmental across the air business, driving improvements in order to meet the business obligations and aspirations.
