Salary: £52,084 + (dependent on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- A Developer (Team Lead) is responsible for managing a team of BI Developers who design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions within an agile development framework.
- Ensure developments are to an agreed standard and represent the team at Release Advisory Board meetings (RAB).
- Identify risks within the service and ensure they are logged on Risk Register with mitigations.
- Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate BI solutions.
- Build and deploy BI solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures.
- Ensure test plans, unit tests and peer reviews are carried out for all development.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Computer Science degree or equivalent proven experience.
- You will have experience in modelling datasets and building data warehouses.
- You will be customer focussed, have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to create technical designs from business requirements.
- You will have a technical background together with the ability to understand technical instructions and communicate these onto others.
- Experience of Visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent.
Desirable
- ITIL is beneficial but not essential.
- Previous team leader experience is advantageous but not essential.
