Salary: £44,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Report to the Instructional Products Support Team (IPST) Lead.
  • Sustainment, maintenance and development of new F-35 Lightning II CW, as requirements dictate, delivered to both Pilots and Ground crew.
  • Work closely with a Graphic Artist / Media Developer to define new and update graphics content to support the CW development.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Modelling and Simulation Team to create new media and to update existing media content throughout the CW development process.
  • Directly update CW utilising the Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
  • Directly update Lesson and syllabus data in the Instructional System Design (ISD) Database
  • Support the development of Pilot Training Aid (PTA) sovereign scenarios. Utilising Prepar3D software.
  • Produce supplemental instructional aids including schematics, block diagrams etc. from existing lesson content and source data

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • A good understanding of DSAT(JSP822) and/or Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
  • Experience in developing and creating lessons to a set of requirements

Desirable:

  • F-35 Lightning II experience as either Ground crew or Aircrew
  • Experience using Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) such as Adobe Captivate or Dominknow, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D Modelling software such as 3DS Max and Unity would be advantageous

The Courseware Development Team:

Courseware Developers support both Pilot and Ground crew Courseware (CW). The CW consists of both Self-paced and Instructor Led content developed using a Learning Content Management System (LCMS). As a Courseware Developer, you will work alongside 2 other CW developers producing modifications or changes to courseware in response to customer requirements. This role will provide you with opportunities within the wider BAE business.
