Location: Portsmouth Naval Base
Salary: Up to £42,000 dependant on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying where Occupational Hygiene surveillance is required
- Undertaking area and personal sampling programmes
- Reviewing business governance to ensure compliance to standard
- Maintaining qualifications and CPD standards
- Liaising with business to promote good practises, liaising with third party laboratories and identifying suitably qualified and experienced contract support where required
- Providing professional and accurate SHE advice on the requirements of SHE legislation and compliance with company (SHE) procedures across Maritime Services
- Supporting the Occupational Health department as necessary
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- BOHS membership would be an advantage
- Industrial background
- NEBOSH Qualification or equivalent
