What you’ll be doing:
- Working within the FCAS Supply Chain Security Assurance Team
- Working with other specialist security areas to deliver an integrated supply chain security solution
- Providing support and guidance to suppliers to ensure security compliance including :
- Undertaking physical visits to suppliers, as a part of the due diligence process
- Assessing the cyber risk assurance process across suppliers
- Generating Security Aspect Letter to define security requirements for individual suppliers
- Proactively engage stakeholders, in particular Engineering and Procurement, to ensure security requirements are captured
- Working collaboratively with partner companies , both within the UK and internationally
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Business professional qualifications and/or Qualified to Degree standard or equivalent
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision, escalating any appropriate concerns
- Ability to analyse information and implement solutions that best meet the requirements of the project and business
Desirable:
- Security qualifications ( CISSP, CISM, CEH)

The Supplier Security Assurance Team:
Operating as a member of the FCAS Supplier Security Assurance Team you will provide Security expertise, and governance in support of the operational and strategic needs of the FCAS business.
The FCAS is being developed as the Global Combat Air Programme across the UK, Japan and Italy. The concept and assessment phase contract will see the partners develop a range of digital concepts, embedding new tools and techniques to design, evaluate and shape the final design and capability requirements of Tempest.
