Salary: c.£60,000 plus depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying technologies from across the BAE Systems IP portfolio which might have opportunities to be sold or licensed into other industries externally
- Developing a critical understanding of the value these technologies have to specific industries and the key players in those industries
- Valuing, Prioritising and Building buy-in for your chosen opportunities
- Building “deal teams” drawing from skills and experience across the organisation to approach prospective customers and develop licensing or IP sale opportunities.
- Managing deals through internal processes and stakeholders to deliver bottom line value to the company.
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven background of delivering new concepts or strategies to market
- Stakeholder management and project management skills
- Flexible, creative with a can-do attitude who can communicate at every level
- Technical understanding or background in realising value from technology

The Office of the CTO:
Lead the creation of new business ideas and the delivery of licensing or IP sale deals. This role will be empowered with high levels of trust, whilst having freedom and visibility across the BAE Systems corporate portfolio. The CTO team are charged with coordinating the corporate strategy, technology investments and product roadmaps – ensuring we deliver maximum shareholder value against these initiatives.
