Job title: Business Support Officer

Salary: £31,410+ dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the Hawk Support UK Lead Training Coordinator on behalf of the Hawk UK Training Manager collating inputs into the training database and providing monthly reports for use in the monthly training coordinators meeting
- Carry out Contract Status Review Project Control activities for ground crew training including budget vs forecast analysis and creation of associated presentation material on behalf of the Training Manager
- Provide administrative assistance to the Hawk Synthetic Training Facility which also includes liaising with RAF pilots and MoD customers
- Provide Hawk Training and Quality teams with business management and administrative assistance creating report and presentation material, records management and hastening audit findings
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Highly organised and professional with the ability to priorities and manage various work tasks
- Able to communicate at all levels of the Company and with external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills, able to manipulate data to identify trends and data shortages
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of using procurement systems such as Coupa or equivalent
- Qualified on Business Management/ Business Apprentice

The BAE Systems Hawk and Babcock team:
The BAE Systems Hawk Business Support & Training Officer will work largely with Project Management, Quality, Finance, and Engineering functions providing Business Support and Project Control activities to the Hawk Support contracts at RAF Valley
You also will be working as part of the combined BAE Systems Hawk Team and Babcock
This is a very broad role engaging with customers and clients daily and meeting a wide spectrum of people, including company employees, contractors, MoD/RAF personnel and military aircrew
