Job title: E-Learning Designer

Salary:Up to 38k depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

    Support the development of digital materials to be used as part of our Apprenticeship curriculum

      Create materials in line with the learning ethos of BAE Systems utilising our Virtual Learning Environment – Canvas

        Leverage digital tools to create agile, engaging materials for apprentices which can be utilised both synchronously and asynchronously where required

          Collaborate with Curriculum Designers to create effective digital curriculum packages for apprenticeship programmes ranging from level 2 to 7

            Translate technical concepts into accessible learning resources for apprentices

              Utilise modern authoring tools to create packages of learning suitable for a blended curriculum

              Your skills and experiences:

              Essential

              • Highly proficient in using a range of I.T. programmes, authoring tools and virtual learning environments, including the use of SCORM packages.
              • ADDIE software package or similar experience
              • Understanding of the intent, implementation and impact of the planned and delivered curriculum
              • Good knowledge of safeguarding compliance with a commitment and desire to continue to develop in this area.
              • Experience in creating curricula

              Desirable

              §Experience of using and working with virtual learning environments, Canvas an advantage

              §Learning and Development background

              • Educated to Degree level or related subject or Instructional Design qualifications or equivalent industry experience
