Job title: Capture Manager (UK)
Location: Christchurch - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: £67,000+ (dependent on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Leads all aspects of the capture activity leading to winning an executable order, including the achievement of projected margin targets
- Leads the development & implementation of the capture plan encompassing win strategy, price to win etc
- Develops the business case for continuing to pursue & bidding for the opportunity, including capture budget
- Plans, appropriately tailors & uses relevant processes, including LCM reviews & approvals
- Identifies requirements for Capture Team members & sets their objectives
- Leads customer requirement influencing strategy, requirement interpretation & solution option generation including make/ buy & partnering/teaming strategy
- Leads stakeholder management & keeps the Business Leadership team informed & engaged, including timely escalation of issues needing resolution
- Defines the customer relationship & management strategy & engages senior company executives in contact activity
- Ensures smooth hand-over to the Project Manager for delivery phase (LCM 2B)
Your skills and experiences:
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualifications with experience
- You will have a minimum demonstrable experience of 3 years in a similar role
- You will be fully aware of the Shipley Business Winning principles & LCM governance process
- You will have explicit knowledge of working on campaigns for MOD contracts, understanding of terminology, timelines & procurement process

The Business Development team:
As a Capture Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of UK Campaigns, leading Campaign Teams & working in close collaboration across Functions & the wider Digital Intelligence business
You will be responsible from the LCM Phase 0 Review for leading the activity to capture the business for a specific opportunity. Then hand over leadership to the Project Manager at LCM Phase 2B review
