Job Title: Oracle Administrator

Location: Yeovil, Somerset; or Preston; We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

    Using Oracle database management system software and tools to collect the agreed performance statistics

      Carrying out the agreed database maintenance using Oracle toolsets

        Completing administration tasks for both legacy and future projects

          Supporting the design and implementation of projects in the initial phases

            Identifying and resolving issue with applications following agreed procedures

              Planning, scheduling, and monitoring own work competently within limited deadlines and according to relevant legislation and procedures

              Your skills and experiences:

              Essential

                Working knowledge of the installation and setup of database instances in order to support customers

                  Experience of Oracle 12C

                    Exposure to both Linux and Windows

                    Desirable

                      Good understanding of PL/SQL
