Job title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Salary:Up to £51,380 dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Support Design Engineering and other departments by establishing cost estimates, and manufacturing solutions for proposed projects
Development of Routings (manufacturing methods) for all new products or components, in order to ensure safe, effective, efficient and quality production processes
Carry out effective “Process” to identify, reduce or eliminate risks to proposed manufacturing methods and processes
Develop Standardised Work for all manufacturing processes, defining manufacturing methods and processes required to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives
Develop and maintain accurate Standard Times, for all manufacturing process, to assist with product costing and capacity
Carry out effective Capacity Planning, highlight capacity shortfalls and identify ways to eliminate these
Undertake tooling studies and manage the sourcing of new tooling required to complete a project
Your skills and experiences:
The role holder will have minimum HNC and previous experience in Electro – Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering role OR an equivalent Degree with experience in Manufacturing Engineering; and have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Proven track record in effective application of problem solving techniques
Experience in working with MRP processes
New Product Introduction experience
HSE – Risk, COSHH, PUWER
