Job title: CAD Designer

Salary:£35,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing:

    Using the CAD tool to produce 3D models of Hull & Outfit systems and equipment integration.

      Producing 2D drawing outputs to a demanding schedule to support the manufacturing and production teams in product build and delivery.

        Developing and maintaining working relationships with interfacing teams and team members.

          Working with the client to produce an integrated design that meets their expectations and agreed set of requirements.

          Your skills and experiences:

          Essential:

            Previous experience within a Structural Designer, a Structural Draughtsperson within a high hazard industry such as Civil, Structures, Marine, Oil & Gas Environment/background OR degree qualified within relevant engineering discipline.

              Understanding of CAD modelling techniques.

                HNC Level Qualification in STEM subject or Design.

                  The Product Engineering Department team:

                  You will be working in a team applying knowledge and experience of engineering design principles and practices to the design and detail or generation of product standards for engineering plant and systems. The team are specialists in techniques, processes and tools for large scale detailed design of platforms, assemblies, systems and equipment installation.
