Job title: Systems Engineer – Functional Integration

What you’ll be doing:
Contribute to the development of a Functional Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) Programme
Analysis of IV&V needs within a project context or for the wider engineering function
Help put in-place any IV&V facilities, resources, etc. that are required
Using the required resources, you will conduct IV&V activities
Use of IV&V tools to demonstrate and prove that a system-of-interest and system elements meet the needs and expectations of customers and intended users
Prepare integration, verification and validation documentation in line with customer, business processes, project and wider-industry guidance, templates, etc.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Have a good understanding of the engineering lifecycle
A good understanding of systems engineering processes
Knowledge and understanding of model based systems Engineering.
Familiarity with systems requirement and design software tools
Desirable:
Competence and capability with IV&V software tools
A good understanding of configuration management principles and software tools

The Functional Integration team:
As part of this role you will work alongside system-of-interest and system element owners, designers, suppliers, customers and intended users & other teams to ensure that it can be demonstrated and proven that a system-of-interest and its system elements meet the needs and expectations of customers and intended users in a system-of-interests operating context(s).
