Job title: Trinity Hardware Systems Engineer

Salary:£45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing leadership in the hardware engineering approach and support to the Technical Authority
Offering innovative hardware solutions to technical challenges, fulfilling requirements.
Leading hardware activities and teams
Coaching and developing the team’s less experienced engineers
Accurately report progress and estimate to complete against activities/tasks
Delivering procedural, technical guidance and general Trinity hardware oversight.
Executing tasks proactively and independently
Your skills and experiences:
Degree or apprenticeship or equivalent experience
Your existing skills and qualifications should ideally include competence and knowledge in a number of the following:
COTS integration (with an awareness of obsolescence management)
Integration of Information Technology equipment (including IP, Serial, Wireless technologies)
Electrical Design and Installation for Fixed Sites and Person Deployable (temporary) Installations
Systems integration from Requirements Engineering to in-field trouble shooting.
Electronics/Embedded Computing
Configuration management, at system level and all the way down to component sourcing.
Technical documentation (for Design Certification, Compliance, and Operating Procedures)
3D CAD Design and Analysis
Power Systems Design for Electronics/COTS items (AC-DC, DC-DC, Power Filtering, Automotive, UPS)
Structural, Safety Analysis and understanding of Design Certification and Product Safety Processes
Design of equipment to meet stringent environmental requirements such as EMC/T, Environmental etc. (awareness of DEF-STANS)
