Job Title: Project Materials & Equipment Controller

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 Dependent on skills and experiences
What you’ll be doing:
Managing the re-life / repair / spares activities to ensure these are co-ordinated in accordance with the contractual demand in Torpedo programmes
Interfacing with stakeholders to ensure all demands are satisfied and programme responsibilities are understood
Co-ordinating the Torpedo repair facility, monitoring the progress of functions including Purchasing, Production and Subcontract
Managing to ensure contractual turnaround times are achieved and the torpedo delivery programme is satisfied
Your skills and experiences:
Knowledgeable in the field of repair facility management (production and scheduling) and Depot Spares provisioning
IT- MS Office including Word and Excel. Shared Data Environment, SAP, and My Options
Good Knowledge of the company tools (inc SAP) across multiple functions i.e., project/manufacturing/procurement
Effective communication skills at all levels.
Self-motivated and conscientious with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Attention to detail, in particular the accuracy of data entered into the systems with the determination to meet deadlines
Ability to accept changing priorities to meet customer expectations, often at short notice

The Project Management team:
You will have the chance to participate in the project management team as a Project Materials & Equipment Controller by overseeing the repair, relife, and spares provisioning for torpedo hardware. This means routinely interacting with the MOD as well as various internal functions. The development of opportunities with a wide range of internal courses is fully supported.
