Job title: Product Security Engineer

Salary: £45,326+ dependent upon skills & experience

What you’ll be doing:

    Co-ordinating Air Sector Product Security Alerts and potential vulnerabilities

    o Communicating alert notifications

    o Progress & status reporting

    o Identifying & implementing lessons learnt

    o Producing regular communications to key stakeholders

    o Utilising product knowledge & vulnerability trends to ensure a proactive approach across the business

    Further responsibilities will focus on:

      Product Security Technical Support for teams across the AIR sector

        o Providing the technical support needed to establish and deliver Product Security engineering activities across our Product lines

          Contributing to the development of the Product Security capability through the continuous improvement of existing processes, promoting efficiency and competitiveness

            Sharing and collaborating across Air Sector and other BAE Systems Business Units

              Working closely with our communications team to assist in developing Product Security comms and engagement initiatives.

              Your skills and experiences:

              Essential:

                Demonstrable relevant engineering experience

                  Systems Engineering and associated lifecycle processes

                    Degree in a STEM subject or HNC/HND with relevant experience

                    Desirable:

                      Knowledge and understanding of IT systems

                        Product Security Engineering and/ or Cyber Security Experience
