Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer - MAT Ops Leads
Location: Barrow-in-Furness – we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: £38,734+ (depending on experience)
What you’ll be doing:
Main point of contact to assess the build ability of specific area of submarine
Developing the level 3 /4 build plan, working with MAT planner to produce the construction plan for the area
Defining scope of level 3 key build activity
Developing the definition of modules
Interacting with major area teams ensuring that interfaces meet operations’ requirements
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
HNC or equivalent OR Trade Background
Microsoft Packages proficiency
Manufacturing Engineering knowledge
Desirable
CAD experience
Ability to understand engineering drawings
Good Networking skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and cross function

As a part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be working on SSN-aukus programme in its early lifecycle.
