Job Title: IT Cyber Security – Controls

What you’ll be doing:

  • As part of a small team, you will ensure that Operational Technology is secured in line with company standards to meet the needs of the business.

  • Apply security standards and best practices relating to Operational Technology

  • Advise and support Operations Engineers in the secure operation, ensuring that the business Operational Technology estate is both protected and enabled to deliver

  • Undertake ongoing risk analysis, and application of appropriate security controls

  • You will engage with both stakeholders from IT, Operations and other departments that rely upon Operational Technology and IT infrastructure

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Knowledge of IT Security principles and how they are applied in Operational Technology domain

  • Stakeholder engagement experience operational/facilities/Zoned areas

  • Good understanding of technology controls

  • Cyber security experience & understanding of compliance (CCNA, CISSP etc)

Desirable

  • Former experience with operational technology

  • Understanding of MOD defence sector

The IM&T - Cyber Security Architecture team:

As an IT Security Specialist - Operational Technology, you will have the chance to collaborate with a network of contacts across the wider BAE Systems group.
