Job Title: Paint Sprayer
Location: Rochester
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing of surfaces to be coated by using various methods to remove grease, dirt and general contamination to the required standards and to ensure that the spray paint or chemical/Conformal coating (Con Coat) adheres correctly
Mixing paints and chemicals/Con coat to meet the requirements of the customer using the correct methods, specification and safety regulations
Preparing of the spray equipment, paints or chemicals/Con Coat and the purpose built spray booths will be required before any paint or chemical work is undertaken
Operating the paint/Con coat spraying equipment and purpose built spray booths ensuring the safety procedures are maintained at all time, and to the requirements of the customer and specifications
Spraying of the paint or chemicals/Con coat onto manufactured products to provide finished surfaces to the highest of standards
Your skills and experiences:
Experience in paint spraying and /or Conformal coating environments
Ability to closely follow written instructions and keep records for audit purposes
Able to follow strict safety requirements associated with the storage and use of hazardous materials and the disposal of hazardous material waste
Able to wear protective clothing including air-fed masks.Please note that protective clothing, masks, gloves and goggles must be worn when handling hazardous materials and spraying

The Paint Spraying team:
You will be responsible for spray painting Head Up Display (HUD) units, Flight Control Sticks, Fast Jet Throttle controls and other similar type high technology products. On the conformal coating side, you will be spraying a humiseal coating onto printed circuit boards that are eventually assembled into the products.
These high technology products are then fitted into civilian and military aircraft from around the world, your passion and attention to detail will shine through in the top quality work you produce, on a range of projects that require different techniques and finishes.
