Job title: Major Incident Manager

Salary:Circa £42K per annum
What you’ll be doing:
Manage multiple major incidents ensuring multi-supplier activities are coordinated with clearly documented actions, owners and timeframes
Ensure that informative and timely business communications are provided throughout the duration of each major incident
Deputise for the BAE Major Incident Management Lead by attending service operation and customer facing meetings
Provide written and oral summary status reports to senior management and stakeholders for complex major incidents
Provide training, support and guidance for less experienced team members
Coordinate day to day activities and prioritise the workload of the team
Act as an escalation point for complex queries or issues for the MIM team
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
Good knowledge of customer organisation and priorities
Experience in a service operations environment
ITIL lifecycle experience (particularly Service Operations)
Desirable
Extensive knowledge of Networks, End User Desktops, Hosting and Server Infrastructure
Team leader or management experience

The Major Incident Management Team:
The role holder is responsible for ensuring that the MIM team and the Command Centre complete routine tasks such as SMS and written communications are sent, ITSM ticketing system and dashboards are updated and all relevant reports are completed.This is a varied, challenging and rewarding role, providing wins and results for all levels of stakeholders of the business, providing opportunities to grow within Enterprise IT Services.
