Job title: Typhoon Technical Support Engineer

Salary:£45,326 - £49,834

What you’ll be doing:

    The role is an engineering role and ensures that there is an effective engineering approach for each task and that task responses and safety assessments have robust engineering provenance.

      The role will also be responsible for ensuring that the status of each ongoing investigation is clearly reported and a close working relationship with customers and stakeholders is maintained in order that service levels and reputation are upheld.

        As a task lead you will continually engage with industry specialists across all EPC’s to co-ordinate investigations, manage schedules and ensure the timely delivery of effective conclusions and responses.

          The completion of safety assessments on task receipt and within defined timeframes is a key engineering activity involving engagement with customers and specialists.

          Your skills and experiences:

          Essential:

            HNC /HND in a STEM or engineering subject or equivalent relevant experience.

              Experience of at least one of the following would be advantageous: Typhoon weapons system, Avionics, Rig Testing, Aircraft maintenance, Integrated Logistics Support, Supplier management, In-service Support.

                A general understanding of Aircraft Maintenance practices would also be beneficial.

                The Typhoon Technical SupportTeam:

                Working within Fast Jet Support, Design Authority Services team providing Technical Support our Typhoon customers.The role will primarily be responsible for the delivery of Defect Investigation services but due to the diverse range of services within the team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to a wider range of support tasks and specialist query responses.
