Job title: Digital Engineering Lead - Air Vehicle Structural Design

Location: Warton 2 – 3 days on site per week

Salary:£52,084 + dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

    Creating a capability development vision which supports the overall Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Programme objectives and Digital Engineering Vision

      Innovating and delivering the engineering processes, technology, people and culture required by your capability area to develop the FCAS product

        Delivery of proof-of-concept and value demonstrations

          Building and leading a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver the solutions required by the FCAS Programme

            Building close relationships and liaising effectively with international and UK partners to discuss, agree and deploy a solution works across the whole FCAS enterprise

            Your skills and experiences:

            Essentials:

              Ability to analyse information and apply engineering judgement to solve problems

                Experience in more than one area of the Airframe Discipline’s

                  Be comfortable working with ambiguity, challenging established thinking, innovating, creating new ways of working and leading change

                  Desirables:

                    Development of processes, methods and toolsets used in different stages of the Product Lifecycle - Concept Design through to Integration and Test

                      Experience in articulating statements of work and planning and delivery of activities to meet schedules

                        Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment, influencing adjacent Engineering disciplines and other Stakeholders

We are providing the foundation to deliver the Global Combat Air Programme across the UK, Japan and Italy.
