Job title: Scaffold Design Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
- Producing scaffold designs in accordance with relevant standards and legislation
- Where required, amending scaffold designs
- Visiting sites to estimate job requirements
- Liaising with the customer
Your skills and experiences:
- HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience in Scaffold Design
- Adept in using design software
- Preferred scaffolding background
- Design of layer scaffolding would be preferred

The Scaffold Design team:
As a Scaffold Design Engineer, you will be supporting the build process of world class submarines. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in an interesting and varied role due to the variety of designs and techniques used for different scaffolds to support buildings, large structures, sub parts etc.
You will be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, allowing you to liaise with stakeholders across the business. Furthermore, you will bring your design expertise alongside scaffolding experience which can be showcased to the customer.
