Job title: Senior Engineer – Support Solution Design

Location: Warton - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary:£52,084 - £57,344 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

Definition of the Product architecture and required the trade-offs within the solution space to meet the through life requirements

Integration of engineering systems and sub systems including resolution of engineering conflicts

Development of specifications, architecture and capability to meet and/or enhance opportunity in export and home markets

Capturing and validating the technical risks and opportunities

Integration and delivery of solution requirements into a coherent and prioritised set of demands

Ensuring appropriate application of Lifecycle Management and Technical Reviews to satisfy engineering policy and bid requirements/tailoring

Influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure development and delivery of competitive offerings

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

A good background in the principles of Support Engineering, Supportability, Support Services, Support Architecture and Support Requirements

Knowledge of Product Safety within Support and Services

Proven stakeholder management skills including excellent communication

Desirable:

Knowledge and application of Support Policies and Standards

Engineering HNC/HND or equivalent is desirable but not essential
