Location: Preston. Hybrid work pattern 1-2days in main office

Salary:c.£70,000 depending on experience +car allowance & bonus

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our finance department within the Shared Service team. This is a newly created position due to the increase of demands and project capabilities, as it working closely with the Enterprise IT department. You will have ownership for the day-to-day responsibilities of below:

    Act as the Finance lead for a key programme to refresh the supplier offering of key IT support services to the BAE Systems enterprise

      Complete business cases to demonstrate financial costs / benefits across the programme

        Undertake financial modelling and scenario analysis to enable senior management decision making support

          Compile appropriate presentational material to support key business reviews

            Liaise with numerous stakeholders across different functions to derive key reporting

              Support supplier negotiations as required

              Your skills and experiences:

                ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualified with 5+ years PQE

                  Strong Excel skills

                    Strong communication skills, with experience of dealing with a variety of stakeholders at senior levels in the organisation.

                      Previous experience supporting supplier negotiations

                        Ability to work autonomously on complex projects and prior experience of compiling business cases for senior management review / approval

                        You will be joining a developed team of structured, self-starters and agile minded individuals. This team aims to improve activity across the Shared Services business unit and assist with enterprise wide IT services and projects.
