Job title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Glascoed, South Wales

Site based.

Salary: Competitive, depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

    Ensuring daily workloads are achieved

      Ensuring all relevant documentation is maintained correctly

        Ensuring tasks are carried out in accordance with SHE policies, with applicable safe system of work in place

          Fault-finding and repairing plant and equipment, in a safe and timely manner

            Continuous Improvement activities

              Participating in Energy reduction campaigns as required

              Your skills and experiences:

              Essential:

                Time Served Apprenticeship (Mechanical) via an approved body or organisation.

                  Proven experience working on a manufacturing/production site, supporting with fault-finding and continuous improvement

                    Good computer literacy

                      Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of safety systems, risk assessments and permit systems

                      Desirable:

                        Experience working in hazardous areas including ATEX

                          Knowledge of SAP

                            The Engineering Services team:

                            Working with a highly experienced multi-disciplined team, on a wide range of mechanical services and production equipment where you will need to communicate effectively with stakeholders at a site level.

                            Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities for the site, and providing feedback and reports for tasks completed
