Job Title: Production Scheduler/Controller - Senior Operations Engineer
Location: Barrow – On site

What you’ll be doing:
Maintain the schedule for each area/bay and use the scheduling software & metrics to aid decisions in the 1–6-week window
Prioritisation of work schedule through liaising with stakeholders and customers and fill last minute emergent demand.
Ensure that scheduled work is level loaded to capacity, across bays and trades
Complete the Trigger Transfer request process to ensure that material is moved into the bay by raising requests.
Communication of schedule to Materials and Operations department
Attend nesting and routing reviews to confirm schedule within the business
Resolve any remaining issues & actions to unblock work in the 1-6 Week window
Communicate a schedule tasking list to Materials & Logistics 2 weeks out
Reviewing the 7–26-week schedule window when required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
HNC in Engineering or equivalent work experience
Previous high-level stakeholder management experience and networking
Proficiency in Microsoft Packages (Experience working with KPI's & reporting)
Trade or Manufacturing support Background
Desirable:
Production, Planning, and control experience
SAP Experience
System of Work Knowledge (BAE or equivalent)
