Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Radway Green (Onsite)

Salary: Competitive (shift work)

What you’ll be doing:

Planning preventative maintenance activities on the plant and equipment

Diagnosing of faults and repairing of the plant and equipment

Recording the details of breakdowns and repairs to facilitate further evaluation

Carrying out planned maintenance on the mechanical systems

Taking accountability for your work and working alongside specialist contractors

Participating in reliability centred maintenance activities, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

Mechanical Time Served Apprenticeship, Level 3 NVQ or equivalent and experience within a Mechanical discipline

Knowledge of fault finding in mechanical machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Desirable

Experience with reactive and planned maintenance of high-volume production equipment

Understanding of various mechanical power transmission (e.g., bearings, belts, chains, and mechanical couplings)

Understanding of power press/clutch systems

The Maintenance team:

Joining the growing Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and development of a busy production site. Reporting in to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work alongside other Production and Maintenance Technicians to ensure the production area is able to run at its best. This role will provide you with excellent career progression opportunities along with the chance to work with the latest manufacturing equipment on a top-tier manufacturing site.
