Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Radway Green, Cheshire
Salary:£36,060 plus shift premium
What you’ll be doing:
Planning preventative maintenance activities on the plant and equipment
Diagnosing faults and repairing of the plant and equipment
Recording the details of breakdowns and repairs to facilitate further evaluation
Carrying out planned maintenance on the mechanical systems
Collaborating with specialist contractors
Participating in reliability centred maintenance activities, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
Time served - 3-4 Year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, served in a relevant Engineering industry (alongside an NVQ Level 3, BTEC/ONC/City & Guilds)
Knowledge of fault finding in mechanical machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Desirable
Experience with reactive and planned maintenance of high-volume production equipment
Understanding of various mechanical power transmission (e.g., bearings, belts, chains, and mechanical couplings)
Understanding of power press/clutch systems

No two days will be the same as you join our growing Maintenance team. You will enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities as you work on the maintenance, repairs, and development of our busy production site. You will benefit from the support of the Maintenance Supervisor as you collaborate with other Production and Maintenance Technicians to ensure the production area is able to run at its best.
