Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Barrow-in-Furness – we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: From £38,734 – depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Developing your technical skills across the full breadth of the Business Intelligence landscape (ETL, Data Modelling, Reporting & Analytics)
Gaining an understanding of the development processes and standards and applying in your day-to-day work e.g. agile working practices
Contributing to business as usual and project deliverables
Contributing to the running of the Business Intelligence service
Gaining a functional understanding of business data, what it means and how to use it
Your skills and experiences:
Experience of gathering business data requirements including data extraction tools and data modelling
Producing reports and analysis, leveraging and exploiting data for business value
Aptitude for exploring and learning new technology
Strong interest in data and analytics and a desire to commit to a technical role, developing your skills and knowledge within the role

The IM&T team:
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be managing and coordinating activities and participate in all aspects of the full project and systems lifecycle, ensuring the products implemented add value to the Submarines business and contribute to or influence the strategic direction of the business.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career through a well-established career path within BAE Systems IM&T. There could be opportunity to take on further responsibility, define future processes and practices within the development team or expand your skillsets into a number of different roles within the team or wider BAE Systems Business.
