Job Title: Knowledge Manager
Location: Preston - (Hybrid) 2/3 split –pending business needs - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Circa £30,000 – Depending on experience and skills
What you’ll be doing:
Creating and amending self-help knowledge for audiences of varying skill levels ensuring articles are relevant, of high quality, up to date and easily searchable
Reviewing and analysing users’ search history and feedback, then taking appropriate action to proactively improve self-help
Planning and leading conversations with stakeholders such as subject matter experts and service owners to ensure self-help is kept up to date with changes in technology and process
Proactively managing and prioritising ongoing workload and incoming tasks and queries to ensure business needs are met
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Experience of engaging with stakeholders at all levels in a complex organisation
Excellent technical and non-technical written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving mindset
Ability to explain a complex scenario in a simple way
Desirable:
Creating dashboards and reports in ServiceNow
HTML and Excel

The Knowledge team:
The team is responsible for maintaining the IT Knowledge Base which allows our users to search for self-help on our Shared Services portal. We create and maintain a variety of articles to help users with IT queries such as how to use collaboration tools like MS Teams and to inform users of upcoming changes or outages. The knowledge team is a small, friendly team of various skills and expertise.
