Job title: Senior Supply Chain Professional

Salary:Up to £35,500

What you’ll be doing:

Collaborating with Procurement, Supply Chain, stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth goods flow in both forward and reverse supply chains

Addressing specialist requirements, including US Export Control, and preparing necessary paperwork for internal and external movement facilitation.

Physical Asset management and movements of equipment and on Asset Management Systems

Picking, appropriate Packing and labelling of equipment and goods for onward transit

Proactively manage instances of under-performance internally and across the supply chain. Seeks opportunities to improve supply chain processes, provide solutions and make efficiencies over time.

Role may also require general oversight of other Supply Chain Professionals to ensure the timely satisfaction of customer demands for tasks, spares and repairs during Design, Fielding, and support phases of a programme

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

Good knowledge of professional supply chain principles and practices, technologies and the programme to deliver service in accordance with business requirements.

Experience in Asset Management tools

Desirable

Experience in working with the buyers/ procurement function

The Supply Chain team:

You will be working as part of a team who are responsible for all procurement activities. This role is more focused on the warehouse and logistics side of the process, receipt and checking and asset management, storing and accounting them and issuing them to the business.
