Job title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Manufacturing Build Planning
Location: Barrow
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Working on the only test bed facility in the world for the Dreadnought programme, breaking down the scope of work into more granular work packages to enable build
Leading on defining the build sequence and package of work for the facility
Converting the Engineering Design intent (drawings, standards etc.) into Manufacturing Engineering data for use in Operations
Ensuring that their Manufacturing Engineering output meets all relevant Safety and Quality requirements
Generating and progressing Manufacturing Engineering output in-line with Project/Programme requirements
Working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver packages of work which achieve a 'business best practice' solution
Generating Manufacturing Engineering data outputs for routine tasks
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Understanding technical drawings and technical data
Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
Experience of working within a cross functional team
Desirable:
Demonstrable shipbuilding and design process knowledge
Document management skills

The Build Planning team:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of a team who are responsible for the build sequence of two integral modules for the Dreadnought Programme. We work closely with Operations and Test and Commissioning teams to produce a quality and safe product to the highest standard for our customer.
