Salary:Circa £35,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop an awareness of the business and wider sector in order to communicate the key selling points to engage prospective candidates.
• Coordinating production and distribution of any branded materials and collateral needed to support campus engagement activities
• Identify engaging and appropriate content on the BAE Systems website and Early Careers social media pages to be used for engagement activities e.g. newsletters, emails
• Delivery of the overall communication and engagement strategy and plan of interventions from application to day one readiness, including former undergraduates due to return on the graduate programme, to ensure continued engagement and maximise the chances of return
• Be the eyes and ears of employer brand campus activation – drawing on the campus manager network to draw insight into the organisation on what competitor talent brands are doing on a regular basis
• Working with the relevant stakeholders to ensure all activities are on brand and synergistic with our Employer brand with appropriate tone of voice, brand guidelines adherence and legal sign offs

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Experience of organising events and directly engaging with senior stakeholders
• Expert in the use of multiple communication channels to engage with candidates e.g. digital marketing, social media
• Experience in the creation of engaging communications to support the candidate/customer journey
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work to deadlines, cope with pressure and be flexible when required
• Experience of successfully implementing an engagement strategy

The Team:

Support the Early Careers recruitment needs of the business by creating engaging content to be shared with potential candidates to solicit applications, candidates within the application process and successful candidates who have accepted a role and are to join the business

Support the Early Careers Recruitment Teams as you take ownership and manage the implementation of an overall engagement strategy as part of the candidate journey from application to day one readiness. You will provide a high level of support to colleagues in the attraction and progression of candidates through the recruitment funnel towards start date achieved.
