Job title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Samlesbury – on site
Salary: £45,326
What you’ll be doing:
The management of in-house multi-functional maintenance teams, undertaking planned, preventative, reactive and remedial maintenance tasks whilst maintaining SHE responsibilities as a priority
Supporting your management team with regards to quality management, service delivery, budgetary adherence/forecasting, leadership, and coaching relation to your own department
Co-ordination and prioritisation of workload in line with agreed objectives, customer demands and resource/skill set availability.
A good understanding of company policies and standards that the team should be managed and deliver against.
Responsibility for performance, discipline, and individual personal development within the team.
Liaison with suppliers and contractors to ensure delivery of services in line with BAE SYSTEMS requirements, including review of RA/MS and delivery of Use of External Contractor process for onsite works.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Demonstrable Supervisory experience, including leading and developing a technical team in an appropriate engineering environment.
A good understanding of production systems, machinery, or individual manufacturing assets
SHE Management and previous experience of safe working practices including Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, Safe Isolation and Management of External Contractor procedures
Desirable:
Apprenticeship/HND or HNC/or equivalent in Engineering, with a basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
SQCDP experience in order to plant, organize and structure maintenance activities in line with business and management directives
Customer focus and ability to deal with demanding customers in relation to maintenance activities
