Job title: Senior IT Project portfolio manager

Salary:£56,667 - £73,000 depending on experience plus an executive car allowance
What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for leading on the delivery of a complex series of related projects and effectively managing their interdependencies and allocating resources to support prioritised opportunities
Monitor the quality of project outputs to ensure strategic objectives are met
You will be required to establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders and ensure of effective portfolio communications
Provide line management, coaching and guidance to develop the effectiveness of the portfolio team.
Be able to identify resourcing needs in line with the portfolio plan
Be responsible for the maintenance and following of governance frameworks across the projects and portfolio structure whilst supporting the progress of the necessary project capabilities to support delivery of the road map and business objectives
Your skills and experiences:
experience of portfolio delivery including providing portfolio assurance and governance
Proven experience of translating business analysis, requirements definition and business case production into practical implementation
You will hold proven capabilities to manage stakeholders at all levels
Have the ability to co-ordinate colleagues, volunteers and contracted parties through expert leadership, motivation, teamwork, supervision and accountability
You will hold a Professional qualification in project management is required – APM, APMQ, Prince 2 or similar
Desirable – Having experience of building IT infrastructure implementations and knowledge of the RIBA process
