Job title: Head of Business Operations – Europe & International

Salary:£60,000+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and lead the Europe & International (E&I) Management Committee (MC) review cycle ensuring we have the appropriate structure in place to successfully manage the business.
Lead the overall E&I reporting requirements, including inputs into the Air sector, ensuring we have high standards of management information available in a timely manner to effectively manage and represent the business.
Lead the E&I Governance and Assurance, including the coordination of the OAS (Operation Assurance Statement), ensuring we have a robust governance framework and an appropriate review and audit approach.
Lead the E&I Business Continuity Management activities to ensure the level of preparedness is fit for purpose across the business which operates in multiple territories across both the UK and Internationally.
Lead the E&I Information Management activities across business ensuring the appropriate governance, processes and toolsets are deployed.
Maximise efficiencies by using standard processes and policies and sharing best practices across E&I where appropriate. Provide support for Air transformation programs as required.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Ability to identify and understand key stakeholders’ requirements and influence appropriately
Able to establish effective working relationships and collaborate at all levels across the various businesses and functions
Possess clear and concise communication skills to work closely with senior leaders in both E&I and Air
Competent to integrate and synthesise various sources of information to generate high standards of management reporting and ensuring consistency of messaging
Ability to lead and motivate both your direct and the broader teams to meet tight deadlines
Desirable:
Good working knowledge and experience of up-to-date business processes and the Operational Framework
A highly organised individual
Comfortable in leading and dealing with change, to drive process and cultural change across the business

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Europe & International (E&I) business within the Air Sector in BAE Systems.E&I is a platform and services business, delivering through life capability to our customers across the globe through international collaboration. Key activities include the production, support and capability enhancement of the Typhoon aircraft; the support and capability enhancement of both the Hawk and Tornado aircraft; and training services
Reporting to the Business Integration Director, this integral role offers the individual to be at the centre of the business.Leading the Business Operations Team and working closely with the Management Committee, the successful candidate will be responsible for governing, assuring, and reporting in the business
